Pang Teng Kun

Born in Singapore, he was a member of the Chung Cheng High School Art Association and the
Equator Art Research Institute in the 1960s. During the same period, he entered the Nanyang
Academy of Fine Arts for further studies and learned calligraphy from the late calligraphers
Cui Dadi and Shi Xiangtuo. He uses watercolor, gelatin, and oil painting as painting media.

He likes to travel and sketch in other places. His works have been selected many times and
participated in joint exhibitions in China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan. In 1998/99,
the first Ubin Island Style Painting Exhibition was held in Pulau Ubin.
