Grace Chen Liang

Grace Chen Liang was born in China in 1974. She has been an avid learner of calligraphy since a young age. Her solid foundation in calligraphy cultivated mostly from the inspiration of top Tang dynasty calligrapher Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan’s regular script. Through her three decades of practice, she has established her own unique style in running and cursive scripts. She is virtuosically ambidextrous, each hand a master of a different distinct writing style. Her right hand displays power and freedom, while her left hand exudes a delicate elegance that is both uplifting and ethereal. Her calligraphy artworks have been selected by Singapore and Overseas’ Grand Exhibitions, and also collected by several private and public organizations.
